Looking for a simple blueberry muffin recipe? Well, look no further because these perfect blueberry muffins are super simple and delicious! Plus, as an added bonus – this homemade blueberry muffin recipe just so happens to be the recipe that Disney used back in the 1970s! That’s right – now you can make those classic Disney muffins at home!
In the 1970s these blueberry muffins were a big hit at Walt Disney World’s Contemporary and Polynesian resorts. Since then, the resorts have stopped making these delicious blueberry muffins to make room for other magical Disney treats. Now, with this easy blueberry muffin recipe, you can bring the magic home and add a touch of pixie dust to your day!
Let’s start baking! First, preheat your oven to 380℉ or 193℃ and prepare your muffin tin with the muffin liners of your choice – I’m using medium-sized white paper liners.
Note: This recipe makes 12 medium-sized muffins, but can easily be adjusted to make any size muffins you like!

In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients – flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Whisk until everything is combined.

Add in the eggs, milk, vegetable oil and vanilla extract. Whisk until the mixture is smooth.

Carefully fold in the blueberries with a rubber spatula. Be sure not to mix for too long so as to not squash the blueberries.

Fill your prepared muffin liners ⅔ of the way full with the mixture.

Now it’s time to bake! Bake your muffins until a toothpick inserted into the centre of a muffin comes out clean or until they are springy when touched. This should take about 15-17 minutes.

Enjoy your homemade blueberry muffins as an easy breakfast, an on-the-go snack, or while watching your favorite Disney movie!
