Is there anything better than homemade brownies? I’m not sure that there is! Rich, fudgy, homemade chocolate brownies are truly one of the best treats imaginable – so when you take something as delicious as chocolate brownies and you make them into Mickey Mouse brownies, you obviously can’t go wrong!
This particular recipe just so happens to be my family’s favorite brownie recipe ever! And that’s saying something – my family are Connoisseurs when it comes to homemade chocolate brownies.
Over the years I have baked, tried and tested many different brownie recipes and never quite found the perfect one – until a few weeks ago. When I baked these delicious brownies for the first time, my family and I were instantly obsessed and since then I have baked these exact brownies multiple times!
This is an easy brownie recipe and a fabulous way to add some Disney magic to your day!

Preheat the oven to 175℃ or 350℉. Line an 11x7in (28x18cm) baking pan with baking paper and set it aside.

In a medium saucepan, heat the butter and ½ cup of sugar (we’ll use the rest later). Whisk until the butter is melted and the sugar has dissolved. Set it aside to cool.

While the butter mixture is cooling, whisk together the eggs and the rest of the sugar (1 cup) in a large mixing bowl.

Pour the cooled butter mixture into the egg mixture and whisk to combine.

Add in the cocoa powder, salt and baking powder and whisk again.

Add in the flour and whisk until fully combined.

Toss in the chocolate chips and fold them in with a spatula.

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Tip: The brownie should be ready once the top is set and there are a few cracks on the surface.

Once the brownies are baked, let them cool for an additional 30 minutes (this will give the brownie a chance to ‘set’ a little bit so that it’s easier to cut into with a cookie cutter).
Once the brownie has cooled, take it out of the pan and place it on a cutting board.

Place your Mickey Mouse-shaped cookie cutter on top and gently press down until the cutter is fully through the brownie (as far down as possible).

Carefully lift up the cutter and gently push out the brownie with your fingertips.

Repeat this step as many times as possible. This recipe should make about 6-10 mickey shaped brownies, depending on the size of your cookie cutter.

Top your mickey brownies with rainbow sprinkles for an extra fun and magical touch!

Enjoy your magical Disney brownies as a fun snack or a scrumptious dessert. You could even enjoy these delicious brownies while watching your favorite Disney movie!
